Case Study: Creating a Cohesive Catalogue & Lifestyle Campaign for Rare Rabbit

Rare Rabbit engaged me for a full-day shoot in and around Brisbane, to create a new collection of imagery spanning both studio catalogue content and lifestyle images on location. Known for their playful, design-driven accessories, Rare Rabbit wanted photography that felt polished, warm, and true to their brand personality.

The Brief

The goal was twofold:

  1. Clean, consistent studio imagery for their online store and wholesale catalogue.

  2. Lifestyle visuals featuring a model wearing the collection, giving customers a sense of scale, styling, and everyday wearability.

The client wanted a unified visual language—something that would tie both sets of images together while still letting each setting serve its purpose. The final collection needed to feel elevated but approachable, with a focus on detail and craftsmanship.

The Shoot

We structured the day into two main phases, starting in the studio before heading out on location in the afternoon. It was a long, productive day, but the variety gave us the opportunity to build a truly complete visual set.

The visual mix included:

  • Studio product shots – clean backgrounds, consistent lighting, and crisp detail for catalogue and e-commerce

  • Lifestyle model images – natural movement, soft light, and relatable styling to showcase how the pieces are worn

The combination of studio precision and on-location energy allowed Rare Rabbit to present the collection in a way that feels both beautiful and commercially effective.

The Outcome

The final gallery provides Rare Rabbit with a comprehensive suite of images they can use across their online store, social media platforms, lookbooks, and marketing campaigns. The client was thrilled with how well the imagery captured the personality of the brand—clean, contemporary, and effortlessly feminine.

This shoot is a strong example of how thoughtful planning and a mix of controlled and natural environments can elevate a product collection. By blending catalogue clarity with lifestyle storytelling, Rare Rabbit now has visuals that not only inform but inspire.
